MeltIN WITH ME

Dating Security

A compatibility score is never a safety guarantee.

Use independent judgment online, at events and whenever you meet someone in person.

Background-check disclosure

Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, Melt does not conduct comprehensive criminal-background or sex-offender-registry checks on every member. Verification badges do not guarantee that a person is trustworthy or safe. Records may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and harmful conduct does not always result in a public record.

Protect your identity and location

Money, investment and romance scams

Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, wire transfers, payment credentials or packages to someone you have not independently verified. Do not accept checks or move money for another member. Treat investment offers, urgent medical stories, military-deployment stories and requests to leave the service immediately as warning signs. Report the account and consider reporting fraud to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Before meeting

Consent

Consent must be voluntary, informed, specific and reversible. A match, Bump, message, compatibility score, ticket purchase or previous interaction is not consent to physical or sexual contact. Anyone may change their mind at any time. Intoxicated, unconscious or legally incapable people cannot consent.

Sexual images, blackmail and sextortion

Do not pressure anyone for intimate content or share it without permission. Be cautious when identifiable intimate images are requested. If someone threatens to publish content or demands money, do not pay. Preserve relevant evidence, stop contact, report the account and contact appropriate law enforcement or specialist support.

Block and report

Block any member who makes you uncomfortable. Report impersonation, threats, harassment, hate, stalking, solicitation, financial scams, underage users or non-consensual material. Include only the information reasonably needed to investigate. Reports should be handled confidentially to the extent possible, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when safety or law requires disclosure.

Events, alcohol and partners

Follow venue rules and staff instructions. Partners and promoters may not access private compatibility answers or choices. Event staff cannot guarantee another attendee’s conduct. Leave an event and seek assistance whenever you feel unsafe.

Resources and support

For non-emergency assistance, use Melt Safety Support or email info@meltinwithme.com. In the United States, the FTC accepts fraud reports at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Local domestic-violence, sexual-assault and stalking services may provide confidential guidance.
